Farewell!

Okay, I don't care for what happened here as of late. Quite harmless and amusing to some, but vexing and annoying to others.

I found a couple of the threads entertaining, but I have recently been contemplating upon whether or not this place was worth spending my time on. I think these recent actions decided for me.

I'd be glad to dialogue through e-mail or AOLIM, but after deliberation, I deemed that I should invest my time elsewhere. So now, a kindly farewell from the one with the single-syllable name at 492 posts. Perhaps I will make a cameo appearance from time to time, but until then, goodbye. You were exceptional company.

I'm sorry to hear that, and I hope you change your mind.

I still don't see how this has affected the Tolkien discussion in the least. If you hadn't come into General Messages, you never would have known about the silliness.

I am currently making a long post giving all my reasoning...

Also, keep in mind that some of the people who claimed to be the most annoyed have actually admitted that they in fact enyoyed it (Rogue Elf). Their complaints were also a sort of mean joke, so not as many people have been offended as you would think...

Hey, I never said I enjoyed it that much. I was offended in many ways by different things, but it didn't kill me. I, however, am planning with FrodoFriend to make our own board, and I'm going to post more on another message board and give this one a break for a while. Too much odd stuff happens and from this day forward I'll be stuck with the "boy who cried wolf" analogy in my head. Good luck getting me to trust any of ya now
