even the trojan/romans speak of him with respect, unlike the contempt and hatred they spoke with for odysseus...

Yep. 'Cept Achilles. The tragic heroes tended to be less twittish.

But yeah, Achilles had way, way too much of a temper. Also, for being such an awesome hero, when he gets into an altercation with Agammemnon, what does he do? He goes and sulks in his tent.

At least Patroclus understands me!
