Cut Scenes

I was browsing the web and I came upon an interesting site which has many screenshots from tFOTR. It has some screenshots which appear to be from cut scenes and the next two movies. I suggest you should check it out. The link is below:

They kinda have to . . . can you imagine if they filmed every single moment of footage shot? Sure, we might like it, but it would make for a looooooooooong movie.

There is 45 minutes of footage from The Fellowship of the Ring that didn't make into theatres. In six months, since they can afford to, they could release all the footage into the theatres with an intermission, but they probably won't. Makes one want to by the dvd.

Wow! Legolas and Haldir standing next to a pile of dead orcs...

Holy Hannah, what an excellent site. How the heck did this guys get his hands on these stills? Wonderful shots from the next two movies. Thanks for posting it, Ugluk!

Also, I had heard on another thread [or somewhere] that Peter Jackson's "dream cut" of fellowship was 4 hours 30 minutes, but all the footage shot was something like 5 hours 20 mins. Anyways, plenty of material for extended DVDs...

Arrrrrgggghhhhh!!!!! Arwen at Helm's Deep! Barf alert!!!!

Plus there is a great shot of the Elves in Lothlorien giving gifts to ALL of the Fellowship at the site posted above, the Fellowship being pursued out of Dimrill Dale by Orcs, and the Lothlorien Elves saving them by firing arrows over their heads at the pursuing orcs/goblins. Curse and crush all editors and their foul arts!!!! All the more reason to buy a DVD player in a few months....

There are cool shots of Saruman (The voice of Saruman).

Wow! this site is really great! I'm not complaining, about the site that is. You do wonder how they got all of this...

Oops! Sorry, Aldesign.

I never went that far when checking the site the first time. I only saw only the Fellowship stills before I added the link from this site. But saying that you were right. You have my sincere apologies.

Arwen's back. And she's stolen Asfaloth from Glorfindel again....
Helm's Deep looks like what i've always imagined it to be, only larger and grander. Hmm...strange...why would Frodo want to sleep on the head of the statue of the king at the crossroads?

They should produce a completely uncut version to satisfy us fans, but not please us because it would only be adding bits, not rectifying the rubbish they've already put out...

*/Still thinks they should have done Six two hour movies.

And they shouldn't have mauled the things they wanted to change so badly.

The picture of Arwen that is supposedly at Helm's Deep may be post-battle (probably when the Dunedain and her brothers show up with her needlepoint in the book). She's not exactly dressed for battle. Of course, should could just hold up her sword and strike fear into the hosts of orcs and Dunlendings.
