Making a link?

I have read instructions...still confused on how to include a link in a post. Also, how does poster use the word "here" to show the link?

You can use the button right above the text box......the one that says "http://". If you click it, it will ask you what text you would like to insert....like "here" as you used in your example. Then it will ask for the the url what you want to link to. If you do not want to insert text then click "cancel" and it will then just ask you for the url to be linked. Hope that helps.

To use the bb code you need to use tags. You place the url in the first part of the tag, then the part you want to link in the middle, then the closing tag.

Vbulletin uses regular BB code? Oh good. I havent used my bb code in about 18 months.

I think the new site's going well bmilder. I can't wait to see whats going to happen next!

I'm just excited that I can use bb code again!
