What if Entmoot was more active? What if all the leaves were green everytime you logged in?

Hello, I'm Hectorberlioz, President Emritus of Entmoot

. I'm here to tell you how you can help to keep the leaves of Entmoot green.

Studies show that members on Entmoot, starting on page 82 of the Entmoot Member List, never posted even once!

Our mission is to reach out to those disillusioned or apathetic about Entmoot. How can you help? Adopt a DOAM (Disillusioned Or Apathetic Mooter) by writing them to their PM box, and inviting them to join in the conversation here at Entmoot's illustrious forums!

The Mooter Rehabilitation Program has devised a rating system for mooters who do the most recruitment.

1 Recruitment. You are still a youngling.
5 Recruitments. You've done a great job, padawan.
10 Recruitments. You are on the cusp of becoming a Jedi Master!
15 Recruitments. You are now a Jedi Master.
20 Recruitments. You are now a Sith Lord!!!

I think this is a great idea, I try to do this with brand new users. The thing is, what if they dont even bother to even come here anymore? I'm sure some of these accounts are a few years old. In fact, I created an account a couple of years ago and never posted. A few months ago, I came around and decided that I would

If they never log on any more, how can they see their PMs? They might not all have email alerts for their PMs?

Well, most newbies don't bother fixing up their technical stuff. So if you send them a Pm, they will be informed of it by email. I use to do this back in 2004, and actually I got quite a few responses. It's worth a try

I also expect we'll be getting an influx of new people when/if the Hobbit movie starts to become more widely known/advertised.

It's for the number of PMs you send out to them.

It does work, actually. Some of those people get email notifications for what appears in their PM box, and they get curious and say, "gosh, I forgot all about Entmoot! I'm going to go post there just to annoy this Gwaimir Windgem character."

Maybe two clowns could start helping out instead of laughing. I feel like the little red hen.

So if you send them a Pm, they will be informed of it by email. I use to do this back in 2004, and actually I got quite a few responses.
