I'm looking forward to seeing all the Norwegians who every year gathers in marches here in Stockholm. They use to pass by my building, and I can often see lots of Norwegians flags from my window

Well - I'll have to look at the website and see then. I guess you only gave me half the story.

It took us about 10 years to kick out the damn British, hopefully the Norwegians will be successful against the Swedes soon.

ROFL! That happened in 1905, 98 years ago. The Constitution was created in 1814, but we had to join in a union with Sweden. Jonathan was counting 91 years from 1814 to 1905.

Yup. That's what I meant, but I wasn't clear at all when I posted.

But if it hadn't been for the Swedes, you would still have been under Danish rule

I see - much clearer. I was beginning to think that Norway was like Canada - a seperate country in name only.

Haha, at least Norway used to be Sweden's "51st state"

I saw some Norwegians with their flags when I was takeing a walk earlier today. It made me happy

If you americans are always saying that canada is so weak why d you want us to be apart of your country so bad. we wouldnt be able to do anything for you considering were "so weak" and how come you havent forced us to become the 51st state by now anyways
