the difrence is spending less then 10 dollers on a creem, and 3 minutes per day puting it on, and going through a long expensive surgery!

that is true, but he was more disapointed with there sin then with himself for creating them! and sin was satins fault, was it not?

I'm atheist so I don't see how god has anything to do with Plastic Surgery.

But if there is a god then you can use the argument that he gave us the brains to correct things that we don't like.

If God never said oops about something, then I am worried.
The thing is, everyone wants to look attractive, it's nature. And now that we are exposed to beautiful people on TV, in movies and in magazines, we feel increased pressure to look that way ourselves. A few hundred years ago, you were lucky to see a very attractive person in your lifetime and now we see them everyday.
I suppose that putting on cream or make-up or plastic sugery is the same thing: to make us look more attracive. The thing I dislike about plastic surgery is that it is an operation and every operation has risks, which can be deadly.

i fill like arguring with some of you, but at the moment i am to tired and just trying to stay awake 2 more hourse and 3 min! then it will be aug. 6th and i will be a owner of lotr! i don't know why i am so tired, maybe it is the music?......

I also hope that this thread doesn't devolve into a religious argument. I am not a christian, and I don't feel this forum is the proper place for a christian God -vs- Plastic Surgery discussion.

I certainly never ment to imply that plastic surgery would fix all your personal problems. happiness comes from your own self. but even the most contented person internally might decide that he'd like that crooked nose fixed, or that discolored tooth whitened. We like to feel good about the way we look! And you don't have to be a supermodel hottie to feel good about the way you look. No amount of magical plastic sugery is going to make us all look like supermodel hotties. That isn't the point of plastic surgery to me; it's about fixing little things that bother us in order to make us feel good about the way we look. I've never had any plastic sugery, but a friend of mine did many years ago. She's a pretty woman, but deffinately not in the supermodel hottie catagory. she's a big girl, like me, and not happy with her weight but still confident about the way she looks because she doesn't let one thing like that make her believe she isn't a beautiful woman. And she is. I am in awe of her inner sence of worth. Yet even this beautiful confident woman had a bit of surgery to fix something she didn't like. She had majorly droopy eyelids, and years ago she had a lid tuck. To this day she has never regretted it. To this day she takes joy in the beautiful eyes that can now be easily seen by the world and by herself. And they are very beautiful. She never expected that surgery to fix all her problems, make her a thin supermodel hottie, cure all her insecurities and make the world a better place. She just wanted to be able to see her eyes. It still makes her smile to look in the mirror and see her pretty eyes. What's the harm in that?

Oi, you read nothing right. My point was he has said "oops", though it was INDIRECTLY. Therefore, he was capable of making mistakes when molding humans into the way they were. So surgery to correct abnormalties would most likely make him happy - since obviously he acknowledged that he made mistakes.

We aren't perfect feature-wise, and plastic surgery, though is sometimes taken too far, corrects abnormalties. That's a good thing. Growing old, however, isn't an abnormalty. So I think using it just to look younger is at least a little conceded.

Alright, let's talk about anything that revolves around plastic surgery (being that some believe God created humans and likes them the way they are HAS something to do with altering what God "gave you" via plastic surgery), but let's stay away from the things that don't have relation to it whatsoever.

Old pammys are about right im mean there big but not obscean. Jordan is a british glamor modle whos just taken it to far it looks like she straped a couple of mountians to her chest.

I can't say I'd take any plastic surgery. My skin is in once piece for a reason. I couldn't even picture myself having surgery if my life depended on it.

I couldf only have it for medical reasons but i dont need it im quite happy with the way i look. My ex gf winged constannally about having small boobs and whatnot and she wanted surgery. had to finish with her in the end all she talked about was the way she looked.
