... imagine an octopus ...

many hands make light work ...

i only have two (for which i am grateful)

but find myself trying to do many things at once ... including avoiding some for short times by mooting ...

oh well, gotta go.

best all - and wish me luck for tommorow! I sure could do with it! Big day - potential big production in the offing - or not.

Well, I just read it - that link, I mean, that IR put up, and it really clears up a lot. I do not feel sorry for the "poor policemen". Yeah, right. Poor policemen. At the end of the day freakin' cops are the same the world 'round.

I shall have to check that out, but one thing strikes me initially and very forcefully... though i could be wrong ... but has that been edited? Cus' i read BBc news reports everyday, or at least very often and there is a lot in terms of writing, style and editorial control thet does not seem quite right for a bbc news website peice.

Like i say .. i could well be wrong - but has that been edited?

I'll check.

anyway i hadn't read it ... but i'll keep an open mind and check it out when i have time ... not now or for a few days.

really MUSt GO now.

oh my goodness you guys... read the article before you make comments on it is generally a good rule...

Butterbeer are you implying that that BBC site was a fake or something? This has also been reported in dozens of other sources around the world.

IR - he has not read the article. So all those posts after you posted the link were made with no more information than when this was first reported. :/

yeah i had a quick look after Lotesse said check it out (18th august, approx 1150pm , my time) ... my first reply to the new info was, as IR says: when i said has that been edited?, (18th august)

but hadn't seen it before

and as Hobbit says was pretty much going on the old information: and that from a first person perspective .. i.e putting myself in that position...

No IR, i wasn't suggesting the BBC site was some shadowy mock-up

i just meant from the very quick scan of it i did,

had some one just copied the main points from the article relating to and supporting their POV?

Or is that the article in full?

It's just i was suprised in that BBC are usually very careful (overly so in some regards) to add balancing views or viewpoints to such articles ... and this would be a very sensitive one for them in the current political and royal charter and post 45 minute warnings fall-out editorial news landscape ... so i merely wondered if that had been edited with regard to the posters point of view and put forward in relation to it?

If not, fine: if it was, i think it would need to be made abundantly clear.

besides, when i said a quick look iwas not joking!

Anyway, i stand by what i said before in relation to going on the information i had at that point.

however if that information is dubious and actually the sequence of events we were spun isn't the case: then of course it changes everything doesn't it?

I'd have to see what this ''independent'' enquiry say.

But yeah, i'll have an open mind on it.

heh, just seen Crash, yesterday about the LAPD:

Thats all that we can really say on it at this point until further information comes out. It just seems all so incredible to me.
