Someone needs to invent a mute button that also turns off the picture for a number of programmable minutes (like you could program yours to 2 minutes to make sure you didn't miss any of the show) and has some kind of screensaver or just a blank screen, then automatically turns back on after that amount of time. Then we wouldn't have to SEE the annoying commercials, either.

those welches 100% reall juess commercials, with that ugly girl (no hurt fillings, right?) that everyone thinks is sooooooooooo cute, that takes a sip of juess and says "grape" and then picks up another cup of juiss and takes a sip and says "rasberry" and so on and so on, and then in some of there commercials a girl picks up a glass of juiss, takes a sip and sighs as she says "100% grapejuiss" or whatever that anoying little girl says, i hate those commercials! heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

has anyone here ever ben on a commercial? i dought it, but hay! you never know!

I had a friend who was an actress (or wanted to be, she's really a teacher!), she got a line on one of those infomercials, One of the Popiel cooking ones, I can't remeber what product. She was all enthusiastic and said "they're GREAT for those of us on special diets!!!!" Yup, all hired actors, what a surprise.

That new Joe Boxer commercial from Kmart is rather odd , the one with the guy dancing in his boxers. Those low rise jeans commercials are boring as well. Thankfully, we have Nike. Most commercials are pretty bad though.

this one is on the radio. its for mcdonalds. you know the one thats like rhyme reminds me of jump rope...anyway its like "i had my a sundae mcdonalds on a monday chocolate chocolate chocolate lets shake on tuesday..."something like that. ack! i hate it! it came on today and i screamed and covered my ears and i was like "ah make it go away!" my brother mustve thought i was insane. oh well...i hate that commercial...

The commercial that makes me absolutely crazy is for some shampoo (I'm blocking the brand because I hate this ad so much) where the woman is moaning in the throes of some sort of ecstasy, saying Yes! Yes! Yes! -- AARGH!!!

and of course, in the same vein, there was a print ad campaign for the Maidenform woman -- you'll never know where she'll show up...

Commercials, commercials... hm. I never really pay attention to them. Except for that Ovaltine shakes commercial. *cue fake enthusiastic (sp?) kid voice*

Girl: My mom is making Ovaltine shakes!

Boy who looks like he just jumped out of the 70's: Ovaltine shakes? I LUUUURRRRVE Ovaltine shakes!

*Cue to go inside*

Cheesy mother: Who wants some Ovaltine?

All the kids: WWEEEEE DOOOO!!!!

Cheesy mother: Wow! I'd better make some more!!! *cheesy grin*

Kids: More Ovaltine please!!!!

That commercial makes me sick.

Mad TV made fun of the Herbal Essences commercials once. Very funny.

"But the shampoo likes to do it in the office!"

Every commercial is awful and ought to be shot, but the worst ones are the songs that get stuck in your head, like those stupid buck a day IBM commercials. HATE!

I HATE local car dealership commercials! I hate the ovaltine ones! It's so freakin' cheasy! It's like they wanted to make it so freakin' annoying they could make somebody kill a person. And then there's the cleaning and luandry commercials! They all have the same plot pretty much;

Little boy and/or fat husband- *thinking* Let's make a mess for the house wife to clean! *Wipes grease or mud or something messy on their clothes.*

Housewife- *shakes head while having a STUPID smile on her face* *thinking* Oh what a silly billy!

I would STRANGLE my kid if he did that!
Any commercials for some local store or resturaunt. That's all I can think of for now, but I may have to come here and blow off some steam later.

I don't know how I ended up watching the Disney channel (probably with my nephew) but somehow I was and they have the worst , worst , WORST commercials!!! Oh, the thought of it makes me sick! So stupid! It is for a CD for little kids. It's called Kidz Bop or something. It's so embarrasing! What they do is get popular songs by artists like Pink, Sheryl Crowe and Linkin Park and they make kids sing them and dance and....ugh! (shudders) Really, you guys have to see this just for the sake of seeing it.

Car commercials in general. Obviously, they're obnoxious, stupid, and entirely not funny when they try to be. On top of that, they really aren't goin to sell anything. If you'rethinking about buying a car, you're not gonna go watch TV, hoping that you can catch a commercial, and all the small print. You're gonna go out and look, without any help from the commercials.
