In ICQ - I went into a french and international chats and people contacted me - when they asked me where I was from and told them - they either ignored me - or said "I"m not talking to a damn American". Again this was before 9/11. I don't think the French have ever been pro-American except when it benefits them - like their liberation for Germany.

well i wouldnt worry so much about Turkey. Their secular government does NOT take kindly to this kind of fanatical terrorism in the name of religion. you can bet that over the next few weeks a good number of heads will get smashed in. they are hopping mad about this and they will make John Ashcroft look like Woody Guthrie when its all said and done.
