actually I think he is going to use this as a huge public opportunity to lead into his next movie: Total Recall II: The Rise of the Voting Machines. The premise is a robot from the past is transported to the future where he convinces 50 million people that he can actually run the most complicated state in the country simply by avoiding giving any sort of platform or making any sort of serious political stance at all. In the mean time an alien hunter from another planet is called in to eliminate the current governor because people are too impacient to vote him out of office like everyone else in the country does. and normal politics isnt enough like reality TV so its losing ratings so a three ring circus is set up to keep the people of the state entertained and oblivious to the rediculous farce playing out right in front of their faces. During shooting when asked what he enjoyed most about being elected governor Arnold responded "To crush Grey Davis, see him driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!"

More seriously, it is interesting that there's going to have to be cross-party collaboration there. Arnie will have to work with a Democrat deputy.

I agree you have to admire the man's achievements. They are truly remarkable.
