The movies are okay, they got me intrested enoph to read the books, but I never did like them, I cept on stopping the first movie to do something else, while in the books i couldn't pute them down, and finished them all in two weeks and one day (I can remember that because I just recently read them). The books were defantly better, the movies were okay, like I said, but compared to the books were hogwash. I really liked the books though.

Movies were crap. Books were excellent. End of story.

Okay, okay, the actors were good. Tom Felton was too sneery and stupid for how I pictured Draco, but hey. Sean Biggerstaff (isn't it great how both LotR and HP have a Sean B? ) had a lovely accent, and Rupert Grint is absolutely superb as Ron. There were some other good points, but not nearly as many as the books. C'est la vie.

Cinematically speaking, the movies don't stand alone very well as individual works of art.

The books, however, are a different story. Very lovable at that

I always prefer books to movies. So much more detail.

Also, I heard that movies were for the fat lazy kids who don't want to spend the time to read the book. I didn't say it.

Book!!!!!
I think the movie has changed the way I think of them, but I don't like how.

But then again LOTR took HP place with in a chapter.

Sorry I do not know how to word anything now.

I enjoyed the books more than the movies. I just get more out of the books when I re-read them than when I re-watch the movies. Of the two movies, I prefer the first over the second. It just seemed more magical and new to me.

IMO, the original (In most cases, the book) is always better. Especially so for LotR and Harry Potter. I did enjoy the movies, but nothing beats the books. Of course they're going to cut things out of the movies- otherwise it'd be too long and too boring. J K Rowling's humour is fantastic- and this is not shown much in the films. Go the books! (2 weeks to go!)
