Heh, Silva, homemade burgers always rule over processed nuked Whopper-mystery-meat.

And I have a Arwen toy and 3 goblets-Arwen, Strider and Gandalf.
No Frodo yet, tho.

Yeah ttoo true XRogue, espiecially as I sampled the delights of a Burger king double bacon and cheeseburger yesterday, tiny puny little thing, they used to be at least twice as big a few years ago. Maybe it's just us brits that get second rate burgers that look like they've shrunk in the wash????

And I didn't even get any tolkien giveaways either, cos you have to buy a kids meal to get them, it's not fair!!!! Whys it always kids that get the giveaways???

They had the bags just over the counter in the corner, I was tempted to jump over and "free one" from the evil clutches of burger king.

funky. Seems kindof similar to the mcdonalds beanie baby crazy.. I saw a large older man order 10 happy meals, hold the fries, with milk instead of drinks. I can only assume he'll take it home, use the milk as milk and eat the burgers later

did you see the stupid games on the sacs for the kids' meals? talk about dumbing down a book.

of course my boyfriend was rather entertained by it.

See the thing with the commercial is they dont have to target LotR fans cause we're gonna get them anyway. They need to get little brainless 5 -12 year olds to talk mommy and daddy into gettting them all the mugs. See i personally have a complete set and almost another (i need Gandalf anybody willing to trade a Gandalf for a Frodo e-mail me at Devinmao@penpen.com) So they need to make the commercials dumbed down and well retarded to get the intrest of the little ones

I put my set that I got at the garage sale on a wooden lazy susan. Everyone in the house enjoys spinning it and pressing the buttons. The speaking ones are the favorites. My son is bothered by the fact that Frodo's foot is black. I wonder why they made Frodo's foot light up? (ha ha ha!) his sword should light up, or even the ring, but HIS FOOT!?

I have some of them:

arwen
the scary guy in moria that tried to kill Frodo (cave troll)
Celeborn
Boromir
Frodo
Saraumon
Ukia Hia
Marry
Strider/ Aragorn
Samwise (My Sam, you con not take him!) and
Legolas

I got them all for free! I rescued two of them from a friend who was about to blow them up when he got home, and the others I got from my friends brother, who liked LOTR when it first came out and colected them (I wasn't interdused to the movie or books untill January), but he was cleening his room and desided that he did not wont him, so I was the first person he thought about!

I talk to every one about LOTR whenever I can fit it into a conversation, or I'll just start the conversation my self. Most people exsidintly just mention it, and then they get to listen to me for as long as they can stand it. Sometimes a friend will be intradusing me to someone, and say, "This is my friend Jennifer, she loves LOTR!" So then they talk to me about it! So that is why my friends brother thought about me first!
