burger king is giving out LotR toys! o.O really hate fast food, but i got one anyway. I got pippin, and my sister got an orc. They light up. But they're really cheap. Ooh well...can't expect much can we?

I'm sorry! I don't really go into that forum much, it didn't occur to me until recently that they're pushing the movie with those toys!

My sister (five years old) named her orc "emily". that must be why his head glows red...

I bought a goblet today. They are nice. They have this thing that you place on the bottom of the glass and it lights up red.

Either my dinky little Indiana-Hickville-Central town isn't special enough, or maybe I'm just out of touch...but I haven't heard anything about the kids meal toys or the goblets.

The goblets aren't that bad, but the whole.. "behold fordo, who is to be held!" joke is pretty bad.. one of those you groan at the first time you see it

What the heck does "Behold the legendary 'Lord of the Rings'" mean? I don't think the BK commercial ppl have any idea what the story is about.

I think the ppl who made that commercial were under the impression that Gandalf, Frodo, Aragorn, and Arwen are the "Lords of the Ring"

The commercials are not unlike the movie. It is all about making money, and I fear that we diehard Tolkien fans are in for some disappointment.
