'Frodo lives'

why do a lot of you have this as your signature note? i've been away from the board and come back to 'frodo lives' in various forms or another.

I'm not exactly sure, but I believe frodo lives first began as a counter culture slogan in the sixties, but now it means more along the lines of support for LOTR, I think.
