 Happy Chanukah!! We've just celebrated it here. It was great - and fattening, probably... the traditional food, (soufgania) has 400 to 500 calories a piece. I had 2.   |

In drama today we were discussing Hanukkah (or Hannukah, or Chanukah, however you spell it) and asking who was Jewish, etc. One girl asked my friend, I quote: 'Are you Hannukan?' The friend just goggled in shock at the stupidity. I, with my ever-ready wit, replied, 'Yes, she's Hannukan. She worships the Great Menorah In The Sky, and does ceremonial dances involving putting eight candles in her hair.'
It's just- wow. Can people really be that stupid?
