Gandalf A small TTT competition - win a LotR poster :)

RULES CHANGE! More parts of the world are now valid

Win a LotR poster competition!

I got given a LotR big poster for Xmas and never had the space or inclination to stick it up. While clearing out my room this morning I stumbled across it. Wishing to give it a happy home, I immediately thought of you lot of weirdo fanatics

The Prize:

Large TTT poster (not sure which one, I tried to scour online poster shops but none seem to have it. I can only see top few inches - it's kinda green with ME map top right, and the top of Legolas' head poking up on the top right. It's not purely a Legolas poster - the top of his head is too small). I'd tell you more, but I'd have to open it to do that, which would be harder to send and means you wouldn't be getting an 'as new' poster.

Consider it a random prize

Conditions of entering:

- You MUST live in the UK, US or Europe (I'll be paying postage and packaging!)
- You MUST be prepared to give me your address (winner only via PM / email - don't go posting them up here!)
- You MUST have over 50 posts according to Entmoot
- Multiple entries are NOT allowed (although rule above should help prevent it)

How to enter:

- Reply here with a cute quote about Gerbils (Actually what you write is fairly irrelevant - I'll take all the names and pick one at random, but it'd be sweet to see the cute quotes )

Closing date:

- End of Friday this week (Midnight 27th June). I will post up a list firstly of all the names I'll be entering soon after, and a winner will be announced sometime before the Monday after (assuming I don't forget - if no winner announced, hassle me with PMs or summat). I MUST get winner's address by Wednesday next week, because I'm leaving the country for 6 months soon after, and I ain't taking it with me to post from South America, that's for sure!

Good luck, and help me get this thing to someone who will appreciate it more than me (my poster days are over I'm afraid!).

Ah well people aren't exactvly flocking to it - probably not wanting to give out their address - I suppose I should have thought of this beforehand but not a lot else I can do really since it's either give it away or it goes in the bin, and I'd rather not do that if I can help it

Well, erm.... sending stuff to US costs more, that's all.
Hmm I suppose it can't cost that much.

OK, open to US and European people as well, since so far only replies have been from non-UK residents

Grey ship, grey ship, do you hear them calling,
The voices of my people that have gone before me?
I will leave, I will leave the woods that bore me;
For our days are ending and our years failing.
I will pass the wide waters lonely sailing.
Long are the waves on the Last Shore falling,
Sweet are the voices in the lost Isle calling,
In Eresëa, in Elvenhome that no man can discover,
Where the leaves fall not: land of my people forever!”

The post number was really to prevent people using multiple accounts, but since it's not really an issue now, I'll be happy to include you

Random number generator produced the digit 1 (ONE).
Which means the winner is....

(goes and checks list in previous post)

Lollypopgurl

Congrats on winning my high-profile competition, especially when so many people entered

Sorry to the other three, but thank you for entering

PM me your FULL address (including state/country/whatever) or email me it at gerbil@theburrow.co.uk and I'll pop it in the post early next week.
