Eruviel is a modified version of my name (Elizabeth) in Elvish. Got that from a translation: My name-->name's meaning-->Quenya. Then I changed it to an -iel ending because I liked it better.

Greenleaf is because I used to be under some strange delusion that I am actually an incarnation of Legolas.

One slow night at a restaurant I worked at, a waiter decided to give all the waitresses "elvish" names. I was dubbed "Lizra". I'm pretty sure he wasn't a Tolkien-head, he was just kind of different! He got fired later for dating too many of the waitresses!

My name is half of the nickname my old mate gave me. The full name was Hanzabonanza but i thought this was a bit much so i shortened it. It always reminds me of my mate aswell who i dont see very often so its good.

Lalaith is elvish and means something like Laughter-Girl. I always loved that name in the story of TÃºrin and Nienor. And as I didn't want to have Nienor or NinÃ*el because these names are just too sad, I decided to pick the cute name of their little sister.

Linaewen means 'Lake of Birds' in Sindarin. I got it from the Silmarillion- 'cause Lalaith was taken (I posted this before but that was in the obscure past when Lai and I didn't know each other) and I thought it was pretty.

But her name is not sad and she was not a sad person. But Nienor and NinÃ*el are sad names and her story is sad.

I love your name. I was pretty surprised, when I registered and the name Lalaith wasn't taken yet.
