Missing threads

Do you guys ( admins) sometimes get rid of threads?

There a a few old ones that I can not find anymore.

yeah they do. Some of the ones they got rid of are the heavily anti-american ones. but they got rid of a lot of others too.

I know they get deleted - except for the one's that are chosen to go into the archives.

I don't remember ever having deleted a thread unless it was patently offensive and in material breach of Entmoot policy. (i.e. pornography) That was back in the EZBoard days. Editing and padlocking, sure, but not deletion.

Of course, I took quite a long hiatus from moderating here last year, so what do I know...

I remember that Ben had a tidy up recently, and everyones post count went down slightly.

Logically, clean ups have to be done. Imagine the sheer magnitude of stuff there'd be if nothing was deleted. Think logically people
