The Chrysalids

We are reading the Chrysalids by John Wyndham in English class. Has anyone else read it? what do you think?

I read this book when I was in my early teens (long, long ago), along with Day of the Triffids

I thought they were ok(ish)......pretty original at the time they were written ......but I doubt you'll get many surprises reading them today .

Typical teenage sci-fi stuff really......nice enough pace but a pretty shallow storyline
