Lord of the Rings game trilogy - free to download
If you have a copy of the old game Civilization2 (I think you can pick it up for next to nothing these days), you might like to blow the dust off it and play a recently released (as freeware) set of Tolkien games.
You can take on the role of Frodo, Gandalf and the other members of the Fellowship (even command the armies of Gondor and Rohan at the Battle of Pelennor Fields). The major Civ sites (Civfanatics and Apolyton) loved all three games and they can be downloaded from there. You can also visit my site and pick them up there.

Is that reason enough to kill this thread? ...lighten up. ...friendly bunch here aren't you. And not at all curt or hasty. Doubly strange in a forum called Entmoot.
