SAT/PSAT scores
Anyone else taking these tests?
I finally got my PSAT scores back this month: Verbal: 80 Math: 78 Writing: 80 Each section score is out of 80... needless to say I'm pleased . Looks like that Princeton Review SAT prep over the summer was worth it. I take the real SAT next month.

Yeah, I took the PSAT. I don't quite remember what I made on it because that's been a while ago. Is that the test that qualifies you for the National Merit Award?

I took the PSAT back in '84, and the SAT in '85 and '86.

I took PSATs this year, as a sophomore. So I don't qualify for any scholarships yet...I don't remember my exact scores, but my percentiles were-
Verbal- 99th Math- 76th (I haven't taken geometry yet...so I was pretty much stuck for ALOT of the questions.) Writing skills-93rd. Needless to say, they aren't as good as I want them to be by next year. But I'm taking geometry in the spring...I'll have finished Alegebra 2 by then as well. I think I'll be okay when it really counts. (This was just practice!)

Thank God I live in Canada-no SATs needed.
Of course my poor neighbor who's in Princeton had suffer through them (not that he suffered).

I took the PSATS too (im a freshmen - ben and greg are juniors). You take the PSATs as a fresmen if you are in honors math or english. I'm in honors all but math - so I took it but my math was pretty low.
I got a combined score of 1090 which is not bad for a freshmen - higher than a few of my peers and higher on the writing section then almost all other freshmen I compared scores with. I did a lot better than sophmores in level 1 (all sopmores take it). Some didn't break 1000. I met the requirements to stay in honors english and then some. Some of my peers did not. Ha HA .
