Proof Aragorn will get Narsil regorged in two towers

I was looking though some new pics that have been released and i noticed this one. Its aragorn looking at a sword (a very thin sword i might add) is this Andril, quite likly as look what by his side....yes another sword.

It looks like this is at helms deep as it has that whole dark thing going on which a lot of the shot hold the same.

heres the link http://www.empiremovies.com/gallery/twotowers_05.shtml

Nice picture.

If the sword is indeed Anduril it still may have been re-forged in Rivendell and brought to Aragorn by Elrond, who, as the rumour goes, went to both Lorien and Helms Deep in the film. Bah.

Ah. I haven't seen the trailer yet.
Do you know if Anduril is the only reason for Elrond and Arwen to leave Rivendell?

i read somewhere that thery leave rivendale for Lorien for protection. makes sence i suppose rivendale is but a small village infact not that its pretty much just a house whilst Lorien is a city. probably the threat from sauraman does not look like pj will touch on the elves been at war with dol guddar probably for the best will only confuse a lot of people.

I wonder if Lothlorien is really that safe though. It *does* get attacked three times. Wouldn't Elrond be coming to Helm's Deep in the movies?

Of course not! the post count is so important for some people!

I agree with this plot thingie... I wondered how they were going to let Arwen into TTT.
Does anyone else think that Liv Tyler (Arwen) has way too much of a role in the PJ LotR?

more important than the post count is the coveted Registered space.

anyways, i didn't think that aragorn got anduril in TTT movie seems i read something on a site t like the one ring that he gets it in RotK. oh well, i hate making too many big assumptions about things like this. my motto here is : go back to the threads created before FotR came out, look how silly everyone was thinking then! it could be the same situation here you know.

Curses! You beat me to it, Beruthiel!

Okay, can't spam... well, the sword in Aragorn's sheath looks like the one he used throughout FotR, but the hilt of the one he is holding does not look like Narsil as we saw on the altar-thingy in FotR.

Hate to be a skeptic...

Please excuse me. I am used to using a spellchecker when I can't figure something out, and I have both a Webster's Dictionary and Thesaurus right next to me at all times. (I was a librarian - *LOL* Wish I had an OED, actually...)
I can tell that the "spelling error" is actually a typing error. I have friends who are dislexic. I know it's hard to spell. Take heart in the fact that you are on a bboard that has tremendous amounts of people interested in language (grammar and spelling) who can help you out. If you ever get stuck, googlesearch dictionary, and you will find a place to look it up. (Secret: Then you can copy and paste! Sneaky, eh?)
Stop whining about my happy comment and get yourself Cocker Snoot. Get two! Say hullo to all the folks at The Bitter End for me.

Now to the work at hand. So that's Anduril?! Well, well. It's stylish, no?
As for Elrond and Arwen's departure: I think PJ might make an excuse to push forward the attacks on Rivendell, forcing Elrond to seek shelter with Galadriel, and so bring the sword and Arwen closer to Aragorn. After that it's a matter of saying that even Lorien was being assaulted, and have an entire Elvish host come to aid Theoden at Helm's Deep. NOW! Spoiler, although you might already know this:

Haldir will be among them. So that backs up the Lorien assaulted theme, and is a good excuse to drag Arwen into the plot again.
What do you think of my theory?

I still don't think Aragorn's holding Anduril in that picture... unless the hilt was changed... no sense in that, though...
