Archery/swordsmanship in ME

I've a question for archers and swordsmen.

Where do you put your bow when you are not shooting?

Do you hang it between your quiver and your back?

Or do you hang it over your quiver and across your chest.

Doesn't this damage the string?

Were there hooks you hang a bow on a quiver.

Wouldn't it be a tad difficult to fight with and a sword?

Well, i have a bow, slightly different as it's a take down bow, which means i can take it apart and put it in a box for easy storage

You can take the string down so there is no tension in the bow and then put it in a strap in your quiver. (If you have that kind of quiver.) If not i guess you just carry it.

...and drop it when you need your sword!
