Lord of the Rings win big at the MTV Movie awards

They won best movie and Orlando Bloom won best breakthrough performance. That's 2 out of the 5 (I think) that they were nominated for. check it out here

Surprising... so the teenybopper crowd isn't as vapid as one might think .

Yeah, all that rigged voting certainly helped this time.

I wouldn't quite call mtv teenybopper as much as some other awards shows (mainly all the new recent cruddy ones ie teen choice, tv guide, blockbuster, etc)

And what's wrong with Moulin Rouge and A Beautiful Mind, exactly?

Uh, this is one of those fake awards shows that you vote on online. It's amazing LOTR didn't win everything it was nominated for, considering the way TORN visitors vote.

Right back at you.

*scratches head*

I seem to remember seeing a thread which encouraged the 'mooters to rig the voting, but then, I could be wrong.

Why didn't Beautiful Mind win? Cause it doesn't deserve it. It's a good movie, but it's extremely overated.

Yeah. And you can turn the gun back onto FOTR as well. Lets see... Which was more hyped? :evil look: Now, tell me which one was overrated again?

It's Burger King BOP, not KFC. Mcdonalds has the Star Wars figurines, Subway has dorky little cartoon network crap, Butterburs(a restraunt in "Isengard"-Pocatello ID-) has um these little kid menus with this adorable hobbit(Nob I presume)carrying this tray of food and this little crossword puzzle with WRAITH and HOBBIT,and DWARF as some of the words, and Burger King has REALLY ugly Lord Of The Rings figures. I mean they got Frodos patented stare down pat(It's s inch. Just raise your eyebrow look worried and open your mouth a bit) BUT I dont get the see through foot. At first I thought they got a blooper form the movie where Elijah got his foot stuck in a garbage can.
And Gandalfs hat what a riot. I spent a whole week laughing over a picture I saw of him. :lol
But BOP there will be MEMO'S of how EXELLENT LOTR was in future years. I'll be able to hold up my prized hobbit statues and tell my grandkids about LOTR when Beatuiful Mind MIGHT still be around but all the old geezers like us wont be able to remember it.
Ok I'm just kidding.
