Judging by the proliferation of alcoholics out there (song thread...), I thought I'd start up a thread just for you! Aaawww... don't you feel special. So, the floor is open, name yer poison.

any drink made with Kahlua (or straight Kahlua)
marguaritas when I eat Mexican food
Bailey's is good in mixed drinks, and I like flavored liquers, like Amaretto.
Oh, and I like Tequila Sunrises.
(yes, I'm one of those "umbrella in the drink" drinkers).
Oh, and my new favorite drink is Hard Lemonade.
I used to be big on wine coolers, but not really anymore.

just as well. it's an expensive taste.
I almost think it's acquired because the first time I have tried any kind of drink, I didn't like it.

I have tried:
beer, red and white wines, icewine(ie. syrup wine), champagne, ciders, tequila mixed with various other stuff, sake.
But that's ok, because I seem to have that funny genetic trait where my face flushes on half a drink or less. Very embarassing and annoying. Quashed any hope of acquiring a taste for alcohol and now I always get to be designated driver when my friends go out.

I don't disapprove of social drinking or anything, I just can't really participate, which i guess is alright.
I seem to be spending a fortune on pearl tea though.

I get no kick from champagne...!

Number of vodka shots...not quite sure how many as it's usually a who can drink it the fastest kinda thing

Ergh... don't! It gets you into trouble!

Last time I had tequila straight was at a friends b'day, and she thought I'd be great to do shots of it, only nobody wanted to do it, so she poured all the shots into my glass (an orange juice glass.)

... ergh.... THAT much tequila, also mixed with vodka was NOT good! When I'm that rat a$$ed, I tend to become really rubbery, and do the splits everywhere....

That's a very GOOD thing!
I passed 21 some years ago, so I can drink what I want when I want, but I really don't drink very often (despite my long list of favorites

). It seems like teenagers who can't drink legally drink to excess to show how "grown-up" they are, but they end up looking like fools and showing how immature they are. I learned my lesson once about too much alcohol (tequila shots for me, too, BoP), and now I just enjoy a couple of drinks and then have some ginger ale!

To evaporate any confusion, what I meant was that I don't drink currently. I used to. But not very often...

However, when I did partake in alcohol consumption, my friends would tell me afterwards how much I drank.

I was thus smashed.

Thing is, I never really saw the point in drinking. Once I got to the "tipsy" region, that would induce an "Extra Alcohol Is Welcome" attitude, and smashed I would become.

I don't remember ever going to a party where I didn't land up off my face when I drank.

I like to drink whenever I can (no work, class or exams the following day). I generally like dry beer (little or no after-taste) like Sna Miguel Super dry or even Tsing Tao from mainland China which I only get in HK.

From time to time, me and my brothers open up a bottle of wine or Scotch from our dad's stash in the basement. My mom caught me once with a beer at home and she asked me why I didn't ask my brothers since we needed to bond. LOL. Actually, my parents would rather have us drink in the house or stay over at a friend's since it's safer.

I've also tried some tequila, vodka, and 7-11 (something my college buddies concocted--some 7-Up mixed with gin, and 11 pieces of Hall's menthol candy crushed).
