For people who read R.A. Salvatore's books..

I really like his writing, but he copies J.R.R. Tolkien a lot.

Geek from The Spearwielder's Trilogy: lot like Gollum

Halflings, Orcs( I know they ARE in other books)

And more..

If you read em, you know what I mean

I've read him, but only in the Starwars books and Drizzt, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. Robert Jordan uses Halfling too.

It's been demonstrated to them over an over that serfdom is an archaic, inefficent institution, but they maintain it anyway--largely at the connivance of the serfs thmselves. Astellian nobles don't exert themselves in any way, so they have no concept of human endurance. The serfs take advantage of that outrageously. Astellian serfs have been known to collapse from sheer exhauston at the very mention of such unpleasant words as 'reaping' or 'digging'."

“They lost him?!” Lupin asked , amazed. “Voldemort has been after Harry for 15 years, and then he misplaces him?!”

Well, also in The Spearwielder"s Trilogy, the main character threw a spear into fire and took it out and it was cold: like the ring being thrown into the fireplace. Nothing much, but oh well
