Ummmmm...I'm rather confused.

Alot of people have been disgruntled about PRANKS that have been pulled. Nibs left the board or is contemplating because of"pranks"and JD is rather disgruntled about it. I would like it if someone could explain what the pranks were. I'm sorry if I sound samwise (halfwise or not so bright) but I honestly dont get this.

I think a combination of Entmoot Pink and Purple day along with several April Fool's Jokes (pretending Darth Tater was replaced with "Freddie") is what is making people mad. I'm probably wrong though.

I wasn't upset about the pranks at all. Or did you mean that I was upset that peopel would leave Entmoot because of them. If it's the latter than I am sort of upset by that - because I don't think that is much of a reason to leave. But it is people's choice. I thought the pranks were pretty harmless and fun.

I don' t know why people are upset about them.

the only thing I'm annoyed about is the fact that i fell for every single one that i came across (which wasn't many, fortunately!! mainly just samwise's and the main Tater/Freddie one) although once i stepped back and looked at it from a day later's vantage point, i think they were all really funny.

yes, well, what can i say? i, like RE, am not quite as trusting of you people as i once was, but now that april fools day is over (did you hear that people?!?!?! OVER!!!! meaning NO MORE PRANKS!!! and there was much rejoicing....

Know how you feel TC. For awhile I was just happy and honkey dory here until an Elijah Wood post came up(you know what those things ALWAYS end up in some sort of mix up mess up) and I began prattling aobut his eyes and how beautiful I thought thye were. SOmeone came on and said"Sam are you a GUY?" I just about fell out of my chair. Now everyone knows I am an Elijah Wood adoring female teenager from Idaho.
I saw Pink and Purple and black day. I WONDERED what was going on. Jeez GREAT prank people admins people things.

Why do I feel so sad reading the link Arathorn posted? I'm finally getting over my disturbed mood after April the first but I still think pranks shouldn't be pulled overmuch. Regardless of the fact that I fell for all of them.

It seems that I'll never know this board and who posts on it enough. I'll always be 'just an newbie' no matter how long I visit. There will always be some part that I didn't know or know too late. Things keep eluding me. When I think I finally get it, everything changes again. I know that's life, nothing rigid can exist for long but somehow I wanted that things changed less often. This isn't an accusation towards any of you, it's just the way I feel. And I'm just feeling a little down or maybe I just expect too much of things or maybe I'm just dumb.

But I know one thing, if I last that long here, April the first 2003 will be a day I AVOID the entmoot.

I think I'm going to see the movie again to cheer me up.
