How far will you go?

My roommate and I are currently discussing where we can go in order to see LotR w/ the new TTT preview footage. We think the closest theatre still showing it is 2 hrs away, but this weekend thats our plan.... How far do you guys have to drive in order to see it & will you bother??

I don't know where the nearest theater around here is with LotR still playing. But, I would go 'there and back again'. (Sorry. Couldn't resist.)

About 2 minutes walk down the road, and possibly.

I had to drive about ten minutes. That just proves what lengths I'll go to for LOTR.

I have to drive and hour two at the most to get to the movie. But if it was showing just in Britan I would take ALL risks to ge tover there.

I went home for Christmas just to have a ride to see FOTR (also so I wouldn't have to pay for it. That is what family is for) I go to college in Kentucky. Home is in northern Illinois. That is a long trip just to get several movie trips payed for.

I have another question along the same line. If you heard Elijah Wood was signing autographs somewhere, how far would you go?

For EW, maybe an hour away. For Billy Boyd or Viggo Mortensen, probably 3 hours.

Movies are expensive. I only have to go 15 minutes away, but I probably won't go. Besides, sitting in the movie theatre alone is a little pathetic, and none of my friends wish to "waste" three hours watching "that movie" with me again.

I'm exaggerating, I've only seen FOTR twice, but I can probably stand to wait until Dec. to see TTT in its entirety.

I had to go about half an hours drive to the theater, but I would go to the ends of the earth for LotR. To mordor, even, if it was showing there.

That's awful! Anyway, I think I would drive four hours. But whether or not my mom would is a different story.
