Our beloved messageboard is in a time of crisis! Those who claim to lead have betrayed us. We gave them our respect, our love, our divine presence - and how have they repaid us? With rampant immaturity! We trusted them, and they have blinded us with pink and come among us under false aliases, spying and wheedling their way into our good graces before crushing our hopes beneath the iron heel! Do not let our noble hearts be mocked! Do not let yourselves be beaten and oppressed like medieval peasants! For I say unto ye, immature pranksters of administrators, ye shall press down the crown of foolishness upon the brow of Entmoot, ye shall not crucify the Entmooters upon a cross of meaningless, unfunny jokes!

Here, here! Pink and Purple day was amusing if not entertaining, but this April Fools' joke was tactless and meaningless. Plus, who but the admins and jerseydevil found it funny? Rise and resist against such apocrypha! The Free Peoples of Entmoot shall prevail!

I did not find it funny that my posts were changed. I also did not find it funny that I was threatened/warned that I would be banned. It's not hilarious. It's cruel. When those targeted don't find it funny, it isn't funny.

Yeah, I know it was a "joke," but they threatened my Halfwit sister! And I refuse to be Freddie! Besides, I have this thing where I trust people - and it always puts me in a bad mood when they lie. One too many bad experiences of that type. Makes me cranky.

The point is I don't take lying well, and when a friend swears to me they're telling the truth (I don't care what day it is) I'm going to believe them. I have loyalty issues where I don't turn on friends, but when I'm lied to, joke or not, it isn't right.

I do believe this thread is RE's own april fools day prank. Threats from a known (even then) to be non-existent admin are hollow, and she knows it. She had to have known right off the bat that the whole thing was a prank. Silly RE, it's april second in your time zone, I think.

Serious now, changing the elf lord title into I'm Freddie isn't funny anymore and it CERTAINLY does NOT improve our trust in you, admins. And now I hear you've been changing people's post as well. Some of the entmooters feel hurt. Whether this is just another April fools prank form FF or RE I don't care, this is the way I see it.
