Mmmmm, meaty

Who here likes eatin' meat? I know I do, I love the taste in my mouth when I bite into a tasty chicken leg or the pleasure I get after finishing a juicy steak.

Anybody agree?

I love meat! I love the rare juicy blood soaked muscle of a cow or baby lamb. Mmm, lamb! I love a good rack of lamb! I love to rip that delicious rare muscle offs with my teach, love to sukc in the juices of that dead animal flesh! Beef! How I love it! Nice and blood red rare. I make the best gravy out of the drippings and the run off blood from a piece of beef cooked perfectly. I really don't consider chicken meet, but I do love cornish game hen and duck, whe prepared correctly! The fat in their skin fills them with such an incredible flavor! MMMM, I love meat!

Well Chicken is an Animal right? And it tastes good, so that means I consider it a form of meat.

As the old saying goes, if it looks cute, eat it!

Eh, poultry just isn't as wonderful cause you can't have it all rare and juicy.

Everyone likes meat, but some ppl have excentric tastes: "Dr. Hannibal Lecter: A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti. *sucks teeth*"

Why would they throw it in your face when they are eating the delicious, meaty, mouthwatering, juicy, tasty and attractive meat. Mmmmmmm, dead animals.

You're just trying to get a reaction from the vegies, aren't you? Well, gross! Poor little lambies, and cowsies, and pigsies, and chickensies... YOU SICK WEIRDO I AM GOING TO PUKE... But really, folks if you want to eat dead flesh, then that's your choice, just like it's mine to avoid dead flesh like the plague, er, ... Mad Cows disease... (Serves you buggers right to interfere with the cows/sheep etc natural diet! I hope you DIE, you hear me, DIE DIE DIE YOU CRUEL B*STARDS!) ... er... Now where was I? Oh yeah... I really admire you for eating chicken that spent it's whole life in a cage, and cows that were mass culled because there is a market for eating poor defenseless herbivores... and don't even get me started on rabbits taking up too much of your prescious farmland.... (the b*stard farmers released a virus in NZ to kill all the bunnies - no easter this year....)

[Is this enough of a reaction? Do I get paid now?]

Blood pudding and pork skin crackers(this one is most unhealthy but yummy just the same) are rather filling. Not as nutritious and protein-rich as balut, though.

My all-time favorite meat is a toss-up between ribs and corned beef... however, for pure cuisinary bliss, there must be a balance from all the food groups... all meat almost sounds worse than all vegetables...

Delectable meat products: summer sausage (And summer not! HA!), tintillating chicken, most hamburgers, corned beef, all (cooked) oriental chicken/beef/pork/seafood victuals, tasty beef jerky, and lovely fish.

Abominable meat products: McDonald's "chicken" Mcnuggets, anything found in microwave dinners, that liquid "meat" stuff found in cheap burritos and others, hot dogs (Let's not go into that), and bad forms of the good stuff.

I agree with you on the first paragraph nibs. Just about half of what I eat is rice.

My favorite food, actually, and this has been acquired only about 12 yrs ago, is sashimi. When we go to the beach, we go to a wet market beside beside it that sells huge tuna slabs. The trick is to freeze 'em just before slicing 'em so they're not all squishy. All that's needed is a tube of wasabe and some soy sauce.

Wasabe!

I had to be the first one to say it... yes, my parents always had a tube of that green stuff in the 'fridge back when... I never touched it... they said it was spicy or something. Maybe it was the greatest stuff ever and they just wanted me to keep away from it.

Actually, my list didn't begin to describe the varieties and broad range of the types and ways to cook meat. I like the title "Abominable meats", though.

Tofu's nice. I imagine you eat your sushi minus the roe. I think there's something they call california maki in my area. Instead of tuna, they have mango slabs at the center of the rice rolls.

I've a question: Are the meat-eaters of this thread really my dad in disguise? You sound alot like him. (I'm veggie, and he always teases me ALOT...saying how good the lamb, chicken, whatever was; saying how I torture the poor l'il vegetables...oh wait, I'm giving out ideas, aren't I! I've gotta stop posting here now.)
