Ian McKellen just won best supporting actor at the Screen Actor's Guild ceremony. I believe this makes him the favorite for the Oscar

yeah, in the past, the winner of the SAG usually goes on to take the oscar

Congrats to Sir Ian!

This could be the most enjoyable Academy Awards show in many years. Things are shaping up very nicely for PJ and company.

I amm going to put myself on the line here and predict 12 of 13 awards to LotR:FotR including best picture.

Anyone else?

I don't know about 12 out of 13, that's an awful lot, and Hollywood is critical of the fantasy genre . . . it does look more promising for Best Picture every day though! And I'd definitely say that IM has the supporting actor award!

i hope lotr DOES get all 13 awards, but its doubtful
i think they might get about 9.
congratulations 2 IM, but i think that sumone else should have won the award (out of lotr that is)

just hope the show is on British Tv,
or ill have to buy the newspaper
