Did anyone else hear that anyone else hear that all of the the Fellowship in the movie got tattoos of "Nine" in Elvish? I read it in an article on the net...I think thats so cool!

i also heard that when Elijah was in an interview, he was asked if he had the tattoo of NINE in elvish, he just pulled up his shirt and showed the interviewer. If i had been the interviewer, i may have passed out!

yes, all the hobbits except elijah got it on thier ankles, cause of the whole deal with the feet.
orli got it on his arm for being an archer and i dunno where the other four put theirs.

I've read that he got it on his arm in a lot of interviews. Unfortunately, I wouldn't know where to find them to prove it...check theonering.net news archives if you really want to know...although I personally can't imagine why it would be so important to people, where he got his tatoo....

I saw an interview with Elijah Wood on the Daily Show and when asked where he got his tattoo, he pointed to the left of his, well, unmentionables. I am relieved others got theirs in more sensible places!

It is actually "9" in Tengwar, not the Elven word for "Nine".
