Gandalf Do you know Sindarin?

Hey, can you speak or write in Sindarin?

I can write in Sindarin, and Quenya is pretty much the same. I am going to start to learn the Dwarven languages Cirth and Angerthas soon.

I just want to take a count and see how popular this language is amongst Tolkien Fans, thanks

WELL, if you talk about actual languages, then I speak Quenya a little and nothing more.
BUT if you talk about writing systems, I know Runes very good (even write tem in my notebook), and I'm now trying to learn Tengwar.

I can translate most names and stuff into sindarin out of my head, but here isn't enough grammar an syntax to fluently speak it

For the record: Runes/Writing systems are entirely different from Languages. Writing english in Tengwar characters does not make it sindarin.

Furthermore, the Sndarin runes were the Cirth Daeron. The dwarves later adopted them. The Noldorin writing system, the tengwar, eventually displaced it in day to day use.
