music....
and yeah i'm back kinda, as if any of you know who i am anyway
![]() anyways, i just got a cool set of two CDs by The Tolkien Ensemble, and was wondering if anyone else had heard of them before... listening to the first CD now and i really like it, it's the poems and songs from the books put into music. it's two cd's, An Evening in Rivendell and A Night in Rivendell. Along with World On Tour and A Soundtrack for The Wheel of Time and the LotR soundtrack it makes very good listening music in a CD changer ![]() anyone know of any more cds in this vein? trying to piece together a nice playlist for playing EQ ![]() edit: i was reading the CD booklet and saw that they had a website, and i went there and there's a very nice page which explains the composers' reasoning behind each piece on the two CDs (and there's going to be a third one): http://www.tolkienensemble.dk/comments.htm Glaurungungung They're trying to drive me sane!!!! i should probably add a signiature, i never did after switching over to the new forum ![]() Last edited by Glaurung : 01-08-2002 at 04:51 PM. |
