Is the Complete History of Middle Earth available in the U.S? And if not, when will it be?

Yes, it is. I believe the first Volumes came out in the 80s, and Vol. XII (the last one) was published in '96, so they've been out for a while now. You should be able to find at least some of them at any Barnes & Nobles. Whatever bookstore though, you can always order them.
