here are few what ifs that i wonder how you think they would turn out

1)what if turin was lucky

2)what if feanor was patient

3)what if merry and pippin went back to the shire to warn the hobbits and glorfindel and one of the sons of elrond or no glorfindel and both sons went with the company

4) what if islidur cast the ring into mt doom

5) what if saruman was good/ or at least repented and helped

6) what if the numenoreans remained faithful

7) what if the power of the elven rings didn't fade with the destruction of the one

What if Sauron had failed in his making of the one ring. Would the Elves that were left in Middle Earth have stayed there? Would Sauron have sought to destroy them in other ways? Or would he have been defeated outright?
