The Fantastic Four Movie

has any on else besides me heard of this it will come out july 1 this year it is directed by Tim Story the cast is Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans, Julian McMahon any comments?

I've heard of it, but not paid it much attention...
I guess I'm just more excited about the new version of Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.
I never was really interested in the Fantastic Four, in the same way that other stories interested me as a child...So, I know a little about it, specially where it fits into the history of American comics, but not much more than that...and maybe I should spend the time to learn more...

i saw the trailer and it looks ok. i dont know much about it and id only seen like 1 or 2 episodes of the show. i might rent it sometime when it comes out on dvd

Well, I for one go back far enough to have read the FF in comics for 5 -10 cents apiece! So, I'll be interested to see that one. I may in truth remember the first issue and the acquisition of their powers by cosmic ray exposure, IIRC. Have to see how they handle that now-a-days. (The Spiderman movies got the origin semi-correctly with a great deal of modernistic stuff about DNA thrown in

- no simple radioactive spider bite for those guys!)
