he knows i like him and he did tell my friend that he thought i was really pretty but he's never really gone out of the way to talk to me so is that job upto me???

what should i say to him before he goes offline??? help!

You could just kinda nonchalantly say hi, and start up a converstaion that way. My experience with boys is that they're not good at initiating conversations, so go ahead and you do it. If he doesn't want to talk to you right then, he doesn't want to talk to you . . . don't worry, that doesn't mean he doesn't like you just cause he doesn't feel like talking.
