Galadriel's gifts

In the Fellowship of the Ring movie, the makers left out a very important part...
The gifts from Galadriel to the nine walkers!
They showed the phial to frodo but thats it.
Some things wouldn't have mattered but the cloaks and Lembas play a huge role in the next two books and what about the Elessar (Aragorn's green elfstone given him by Galadriel) that's where he gets his name, Elessar, they even left that out!!!
(Especially if you've read the Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales will you understand the Elessar's heritage.)

I think the gifts were left out because none of them except Frodo's phial plays a really important role. Sam's box could be left out because they cut the scouring of the Shire. They actually did all have grey cloaks on when they departed, but I don't know what they'll eat without lembas.

I guess, that Elessar comes with Dunedain. There isn't really any other possibility here, anymore...

this is one of the part that will be added on the Dvd

they cut it cause it was already a bit too long

Where did you hear they would add this information to the DVD? I've not found anything to date.
