I want to announce that tonight I will post my scathing and ultimate answer to Jonathan's accusations. Slander like that will not go unpunished!

Hectorberlioz is a fraud. Here are the "answers" he wanted to his questions. They tell you a lot about the kind of person he is.

#1. What does Entmoot need that you can deliver?
-CHOCOLATE

#2. Did Peter Jackson use the cartoon Return of the King as a model for his film?
-ONLY THE WORST PARTS

#3. Once in office, what will you do in regards to Fangorn/Entmoot's contentious relations with Mirkwood? Who will you send to Mirkwood as ambassador?
-I WILL BURN MIRKWOOD DOWN. THEN I WILL SEND AN AMBASSADOR.

#4. What will you do to try and get rid of the 90-second rule?
-NOTHING. I WILL SAY THAT I WILL DO SOMETHING, BUT ONCE IN OFFICE I WILL COWER TO THE MODS/ADMINS.

#5. What will you do about the current mess of the Swiss Bank of Entmoot? How will you keep it from falling apart without bankrupting the government and the voters?
-WILL STEAL MONEY FROM THE BANKS AND GIVE IT TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PUT IT IN THE BANK AND SAVE UP. THEN I'LL STEAL IT BACK VIA TAXES AND GIVE IT TO THE BANK SO THEY CAN HIRE MORE PEOPLE. I'LL ALSO TAKE 20% EACH TIME.

#6. What about MootCare?
-WHAT ABOUT IT?

#7. Why is there a pony tied in the back alley of the Admins & Mods Administration Building? To whome does it belong? Why should I care?
-IT'S JUST A PONY THAT SOME OLD BEGGAR TIED THERE TO DIE. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TRANSPORTING ILLEGAL CHOCOLATE FROM THE TEACUP CAFE TO THE ADMIN BUILDING.

#8. Why is the chocolate supply in Fangorn always decreasing and never increasing, despite constant influx of chocolate import?
-WILD ANIMALS ARE BREAKING INTO THE CHOCOLATE STOREHOUSES. REST ASSURED, MORE SECURITY HAS BEEN PUT INTO PLACE.

#9. Short essay question: Who is your favorite Tolkien character? Explain why. Explain how this character has inspired your decision to run for president, and why this character's ideals are right for everyone.

I fear that you are going to start actually talking with this really weird accent, now that you've been posting in it so consistently and for so long.

While keeping myself rooted in reality, I mean to make sure that our honeymoon in the sense you mentioned lasts far longer than a month (I know that married people do have problems and you can't have the honeymoon high for your entire marriage... I know).

Since we mods do like to make some useful contribution to the election, we decided to try something new this time. We have questioned a representative portion of the Entmoot voters regarding their preferences in the upcoming election.


Here are some of the results:

60% of the voters have said they prefer X Perry Mint as president!

Midge and Varnafindë managed to convince 25% of the polled mooters.

Acalewia and Hector who came up last may have some work cut out for them in that regard. And the poll already seems to indicate in which direction they should look for improvement: 67% of all voters gave 'Hector locked up Jonathan. He's mean.' as reason for not chosing the team with the ex-president.

A surprising 1% indicated that they didn't like any candidate at all and have asked the moderation team to send a message to the aliens saying that they wanted Elvis back. The moderation team has so far made no official statement regarding Elvis' possible candidacy.



Other results showed that:

5% said they wanted more concubines of unspecified gender. Tsssk.

39% wanted their favourite candidate to strive for more funding for the Teacup Café zoo and a broader collection of drinks.

10% had enough of this ridiculous poll and admitted to fudging their answers just to be rid of it.

Remember, this is only a poll! Anything can still change before the ballot box opens!

Just goes to show you that politicians will say anything and couch their language any way in order to fool the people.

Of course we do! It's one of the many ways (refer back to our post answering the questions [it'll be the FIRST one after the questions were posted]) to see that the Teacup's many resources are going to be how we smooth over relations with Mirkwood AND refinance the Swiss Bank of Entmoot. Our Mooting experience would not be complete without the Teacup Cafe zoo! As to the broader collection, I have perfect and complete confidence that we can see to that.*

On an inspiration from reading past election threads, Varna and I would like to hand out some refreshments which we hope you'll recognize:

hot soup, cold meats, a blackberry tart, half a ripe cheese
