I don't like going to concerts. Too loud. BUt I like to "drown" myself in music while I'm at home. How wierd (weird) huh?

Have fun!

Gwai I think he meant all Christian rock he likes.
Maybe not but that was my impression

I like the Tolkien Ensemble...it's great to actually hear the songs in the books (many of which I've memorized)

I also like international music, especially Celtic.

I could have sworn there was already a thread like this over there. I'll find the like later when I feel like it.

Ah but anyway I'm a metalhead. I also like a lot of classic rock. My top 5 favorite bands are AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth, and Blind Guardian.

My musictaste depends so much on my taste. But Queen is the greatest band! I also like R.E.M., finnish band Don Huonot, Tracy Chapman, the film-music to LotR, Pearl Jam, U2 and many many more..

I love music!

Mostly I like metal. But I also like classical music, very few alternative rock bands, post rock and classic rock.

I like Rockabilly. It's fun, it's cool, and it can be played live. Rockabilly will never die.

I love Blind Guardian! They're so excellent. Other similar great metal bands include Thy Majestie and Sonata Arctica.

I also love Meatloaf and Metallica, and various other excellent bands.

Apart from metal, I enjoy ska, country, jazz, classical, punk, hard rock, and some hip hop and soft rock. I also like musicals such as "Hair".

For those who enjoy stuff like Blind Guardian I urge you to check out an Italian band called Elvenking. Their range of instruments and voices is amazing. And of course, they have a few songs about Middle Earth

Wow. This is really old. And embarassing.

Just to set the record straight, I no longer like the bands I said I did back in '99. Times have changed, and my taste in music has vastly improved.

Ditto to what BoP said - the new choices are a definite improvement over korn any day

Strange how, as teenagers we listen to the hardest stuff we can lay our hands on (probably in a perverse attempt to peeve the parentals) yet, as we grow older and wiser our music taste seem to gravitate towards appreciating the songs our parents used to play all the time...........well, it's true for me anyway.
