*grouphug so no-one is left out*

I don't remember any 'Chocolate-For-Mods' scandal. You'd think with everything happening, I surely would remember that. Methinks Hector is trying to rewrite history again. I bet he lives in Texas too.

We could suggest to the owner that he moves the Entmoot to a different webhost with that kind of platform.

We could also risk getting a webhost with a less stable system, causing Entmoot to be down more often.

Can I just mention that Inked has been cracking me up WAY too much for the entire life of this thread? I don't know that I've ever before literally laughed out loud that much from reading psudo-political-numerological-linguistic posts.

Food-in-Mouth is first of all, intentional. This is how one speaks it:
  1. Stuff your mouth at least half-way full with food (can be fuller, but cannot be less full - in that case, you're just chewing with your mouth open and it's gross).
  2. Say something.
(note: Lists are fun!)

Anyone can speak Food-in-Mouth. I am particularly gifted in that I can understand it (a feat that not many people master).

I suppose it could be dangerous if one stuffs his mouth TOO full and then says a bunch of words with "p"s in them...

I'm unfortunately fluent in Foot-in-Mouth too, but that one I'm not proud of.

If anyone ever doubted whether grouchy old school Anglicans were capable of "epic win," I think Tess has sufficiently clarified that point.

Erm. You missed the part where I can get out from being under his evil plan. En un momento, I will fly, but only after doing two things:

(I love making lists!)
  1. Pointing out that if I was under Hector's rule, then you surely are too. You should be flying, du ful!
  2. Asking what on earth you mean by "aber". I can't figure that out.
Okay, I'm outta here!

Note: My current employment is the upkeep of a university website and most professors/staff members/GAs do not know the first thing about properly nested ANYTHING html.

So I love ... making lists.

P.S. I don't actually know to what you're referring, but if it's an American politician, I don't think I like it and if it's a past Entmootian president... I hope it was a good one. If it's something else entirely... I'm lost.

I'm free! I'm back!

Some of you may have noticed my recent absence. (Please, someone?)
It might have come across as quite uncharacteristic of me, as I'd never miss out on a good Entmoot election circus!

Dear Mooters, my avatar bears witness to the hardships I've had to withstand! I shall now share with you the true and horrible tale of how
Hector had me kidnapped and locked-up for three weeks!

It was a dark and stormy night. Hector, Master of Orchestration, was hungry for power and eager to see another election take place. In order to clad the upcoming vote in more legitimacy, he tried with a cloven tongue to persuade me to run for president. I, Jonathan, a renowned presidential candidate from the highly eminent and equally dirty elections of 2004, would certainly bring a great degree of dignity to this year's campaigning efforts. My candidacy would also make Hector's rise to power even more distinguished - ah, to beat Jonathan again would make a fine feather in Hector's cap!

Hector never expected me to resist his honeyed words. I replied him that while I was tempted to run, I still felt obliged to openly and whole-heartedly support the current co-presidents in office. Indeed, I and the other Mooters had installed Nurvingiel and Sasquatch for a total period of four years. The shortening of the term of office to only two years came after the actual vote. How illegitimate!

And thus in Hector's eyes I turned into a dark cloud on the horizon. This unhoped-for threat to the election had to be dealt with immediately! Alas, the very next day Hector's thugs came to my home. They drugged me with the fumes of Old Toby's and liquor from the Green Dragon, and imprisoned me in the secret dungeons of the Entmoot presidential palace. Yes, during his reign, Hector had this prison built to deal with dissidents. Apparently, he still had access to this place. And there I was chained, kept alive only by the occassionally offered crumbs of lembas bread, and by the hope of maybe some day seeing my fellow Mooters again.

Meanwhile Hector, bent on doing a Putin, finally found his Medvedev in Acalewia...

Continued here!

Midge, you're obviously not up on your Entmoot politics. Hector is famous for making crap-tons of lists . Now, apparently, also lists of people to KIDNAP AND TORTURE!!!!!
