Because the latest we got any match was about 12.30 we were all drunk by 3 when england played. the pubs opened at 7 for some of the matches. After the argentina game we took over main street and had a lovely day i dont rember ne thing but it was good all the same.

Actually it sounds more like New Orleans. Most fun place on the planet!

The city is really dirty - but cool. Even without it being Mardi Gras it was pretty wild. All the "international" food, like chinese, italian, etc, seem to be made with a Cajun flavor. My friend and I went to a chinese restaurant - the waitresses were all transvestites and sang.

Walking around the city was cool - but I liked the swamp tour the best. I had just gone down there for a weekend because a friend of mine from Indiana had moved down to Arkansas. I met her in Arkansas and then drove through Mississippi down to New Orleans.

We stayed at the Inn on Bourbon, which is right in the heart of the French Quarter and only 3 blocks from the Mississippi River. Our Balcony overlooked Bourbon Street - so it was cool just to sit and watch all the drunks walking by at 2:00 in the morning. By the way - the strip clubs leave their doors wide open.

That sounds about right. I have been there 9 times, including 3 Mardi Gras' and 4 Jazz Fests. Haven't been there in years though...bit burned out.

Oh, and we invented Bungy Jumping, courtesy of AJ Hackett, that nut. And THEN, as if that wasn't enough, the crazy b4stard proceeded to set a guiness world record by leaping off the Sky Tower...

I like the winter too. Though it's not so cold in here... and not so rainy... and defenately not cold... it's nice. I like the winter. I like little rains. I like snow, but I saw it just once in my life.
