Okay, let's pretend that my dear old friend is a guy. I would take the old lady in my car, and tell my friend to talk to the dream lover and maybe mention me a few times.

Old people smell funny and it's almost impossibal to get out there smell and i don't want to have my car stink.
with the guy that saved my life, I'll just give him a cup of sugar next time he asks for it instead of yelling at him and telling his to get his lazy butt to the store.
