Ill give you a snip shot of my own life:
I go to a Catholic School. Its private and I pay for my education. I also pay taxes for public schools to go to school. I pay for MYSELF and OTHERS. And I believe that it is a good system. I already give plenty. No one takes advatage of the other. Socialism will bring it on. Unless you pay for two schools, one you dont even go to, or have another example...

I'm a socialist, and I couldn't disagree with you more. In fact, I don't even know where to start disagreeing with you.

About me: I'm a grad student who works full time while trying to afford to live. I can't afford health care because I have to pay tuition and take care of myself. So right now I'm in the middle of a serious medical crisis because I'm really sick and can't go to the doctor. What's happening to me right now could cause serious and permanent damage to my heart. But since we have to pay privately for health care, and insurance would make it so that I can't pay my bills (or eat, for that matter), I have to sacrifice my health (and possibly my life).

Is that right?

And I'm hardly in the minority.

Stuff like this happens every single day to millions of uninsured people.

My only point is that maybe before completely condemning a political theory, you should look at it from all sides. There are cons to socialism - I'm the first one to say that. But there are pros as well.

You can tackle just about any damn thing you want with a gun. Ever here of a .50 Caliber center-bore rifle? I could "takkle" a tank with one of those babies/

All in all, I'll probably vote McCain. I dont like either candidate at this point, but McCain seems the "lesser of two evils". Ntice the quotes. They're in bold for a reason.
