Something odd for breakfast,
My uncle Fido (his real name Fidellus ) eats an onion every day for breakfast.

Onions are excellent sources of Vitamin C.

No wonder his wife divorced him.

Baked beans is a type of canned crap, Lizra - you can't just put any beans on there and call it baked beans. (do you guys even get baked beans over there? - evil things.) Anyway, I don't know about cheese, but I would assume it would be the standard prepackaged cheddar.

Best cheese for breakfast would be a norwegian brown - you can have it with fruit cos of it's slight sweet taste.
Well yeah, we have cans of baked beans! Most generally they are made with northern beans, but different brands have different formulations. Good cooks sometimes make their own versions, using the dried beans and a lengthy baking time. Beans plus sweetish brown goo....Baked beans! The putting of cheese on them makes me think of Mexican stuff.

Oh yeah, you forgot this....(insert farty noise) I will begin my search for the brown Norwegian cheese!

When I have time to eat breakfast at all, I usually have a buttered bagel or toast, or a waffle (those kinds that come frozen in a box). Or when my throat hurts (ie, all winter), porage.

It's cold and wet outside. I'm having herbal tea ("Orange and Spice") and oatmeal. I'd have coffee, but I'm still not sure if I want to crawl back into bed or not.

Yeah, that is yummy. I've never done the cream cheese though, but I use slices of cheddar. And also peanut butter on a banana is good.

Other people have cold pizza for breakfast right? It's really disgusting most of the time, but then for some reason there's no good food in the house, so you just look around for a while, gradually getting hungrier. Then you think "Hey! Pizza!" and eat it right out of the fridge.

Weirder than raw garlic and onions? I must be very weird

It's perfectly normal and extremely nice - you'd like it if you tried it.

Maybe

Oh, hell yeah!

Sorry, sunstar, I might like it or I might not. I suppose I really can't say one way or the other unless I had tried it.

The only way I'll eat raw onions for breakfast is either in tortilla soup (great for hangovers) or in a breakfast taco (potato and egg and cheese, or refried beans and cheese).

Yes, very yum. But very different - not very cheesey. It's quite sweet to the taste, and you only have it in small amounts, shaved on melon, or pear. Mmmmm...

The "g" is silent.

Don't you 'huh' me, I can see that you've edited out your inability to spell the word.

It 's pronounced 'Ye-tost' as Sheeana said.
It's funny, because 'gjet' means 'goat' and 'ost' actually means 'cheese', so Gjetost Cheese is 'Goat Cheese Cheese'.

That's like when people say "ISP Provider", which is "Internet Service Provider Provider"

Anyway - I hate breakfast. I can eat non-breakfast foods - but the standard stuff makes me sick. I did like in Indiana though - Biscuits and Gravy - which I never really considered a breakfast food.
