Elven name: morreiel (I don't like it, there are too many vowels)
Orc: Olbrug the Sly
Dwarven: Kar Icemirth
Hobbit: Lily Bleeker-Baggens of Fairdowns.

I usually stick with my hobbit name, because "hobbit", or "hobbit friend" is becoming my nickname on campus. What's cool is, I didn't even try to make that happen. I wear a grey fleece "cape" (for lack of a better word) around campuse, to the cafeteria, and sometimes to classes. It's just like wearing a blanket! NEway, when my roomie saw me wearing it once, she yelled across the cafeteria, "Helloooooooo, my little hobbit friend!" and there it was. A nickname was born.

how about 'grey fleecy cloak'? i personally prefer the word 'cloak' to the word 'cape', which conjures up 2 images: the beach (as in Cape Cod, MA), and something that Superman wears.

Cape Cod? I used to go there every summer! And since it wasn't West, it was only when we moved out west and I went out to the Olympic coast that I felt the desire to sail over the sea. . .

Elven Name: Lintelond Thaligond.
Orcish Name: Wazdúsh the Clutcher (watch out, ladies! LOL!)
Hobbit Name: Mosco Banks from Stock
Dwarven Name: Palin Brickanvil
Oh, apparently I was an "Awful Uruk-hai".

A moral of the whole (after the primary symbolism of the Ring, as the will to mere power, seeking to make itself objective by physical force and mechanism, and so also inevitably by lies) is the obvious one that without the high and noble the simple and vulgar is utterly mean; and without the simple and ordinary the noble and heroic is meaningless." When it says your full name, does it mean with middle or without?

With:

I was a furry-footed Gamgee.
Elven name:Thaurseregiel, -ien, -wen
Hobbit name:Ruby Mugworts from Longbottom
Dwarven name:Boin Redrage
Orkish name:Kurbrug the Blood-Axe

Without:

I was a Hideous Took.
Elven name: Iaurbrethiliel, -ien, -wen
Hobbit name:May Mugworts from Woody End
Dwarven name:Bombur Emeraldanger
Orkish name:Ashlakh the Odiferous

When I did it a few months ago, my Elven name was Erfalathiel,
-ien, -wen.

On the hobbit name generator, I am Myrtle Bunce of Brockenborings.

i am:

a Muddy-Booted Oathbreaker
Androdiel, -ien, -wen
Prisca Gamwich from Overhill
Dwalin Thundereyes
Burzrash the Nasty

i think i'll just paint a Tengwar design on myself or have one of my artistic friends do it. that way it's not permanent, no pain, and i get to see what it looks like.

Lol! I was a Staggering Istari!
elvish: Luinëampaiel
hobbit: May Bunce of Brandy Hall
dwavish: Brór Emeraldteeth
orcish: Gâbzag the Odiferous (people do say my feet smell...)

I think that name generator is pretty random though, those were my first results (w/ middle name) but I tried it a couple of times and got different things. *shrugs* It's still cool though.

My favourite Quenya names are Daeglin (ruffly translated, 'shadow glance') and Curudin ('silent skill'). I got those from the word roots section at the back of the Sil.

Oh, and I want an 'm' tengwa tattoo either on my shoulder blade or my ankle.

I have a nice site for name translations...

The names are better there (but that's only my opinion) Click here! On this site my names are:

Hobbit: Claenoic
Dwarf: Myna
Elf: Lómadia
Human: Jereriviel
Orc: Thlurslol (thlur=eye & slol=slicer)

That last one was nice, wasn't it?

Well, hullo everyone. As you can see, I don't hang out here muchly anymore. There's a good reason for this. Y'see, I've been hanging out at a different chatboard called Cardboardia. So far, I've been havin' a blast. Not that I don't love the TLA, but the magic of Entmoot is lost on me. So, as soon as TLA ends, so will my existance here, probably.

Who knows though? I might stay. Highly unlikely however. This is a good bye in advance, then. Unless you want to join me and my group of friends at Cardboardia.

Cheers!

Surfing..... No, not Gandalf themed

I was surfing the internet recently, and I came up with a little Orli quotes... hehehe.

First of all, on getting a tattoo: "You have to be quite serious about tattoos [because] they're there forever."

On set jokes with "Vig": "We have these digs at each other. Viggo will go on about Elves and how they're always doing their nails and brushing their long, blonde hair, and being all prissy. And I just say: Well, at least I'm going to live forever! Got that? LIVE FOREVER!" and, "Vig used to call me 'elf boy', and I'd call him 'filthy human'. As an Elf, I never got a scratch on me, never got dirty. And Vig would come out with blood and sweat all over him. And he'd say to me, 'Oh, go manicure your nails."

Should i continue on?
