How many people here are writers?

I've kind of pulled to a halt on my book writing, but I'm going to soon try to pick it up again. I guess I've been kind of taking a break before launching into the next 100 pages.

Thank-you for making that link. I never knew that that story making area existed, and might want to write in it myself one day.

I've gotten my most recent reply from one of my magazines, they are desperate for some stories, so I'll let you guys know how this turns out.

Hey Elbreth! Where ya been?

I've just got so many ideas for different stories that I can't keep working exclusively on The Uirlon Cord anymore. I am now making a new section for short stories of mine, and I might post some of them into Camelot or Entmoot. I'm doing a western one right now, and am uncertain as to whether to make it into a serious thing or half serious half slapstick comedy. I think it's going to be half and half, because I just had some fun making a rather ridiculous thing happen, and am not in the mood to delete it.

I wish I had half the mind of Aaron Sorkin. Then I could write and be satisfied with my work

I don't. But who exactly were you talking to? All of us in general? I might post a few of my stories later on. The ones that I don't intend to eventually publish, naturally.

Well, I'll be starting to write a historical fiction short story soon. I was reading "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich," and I found a great real life adventure with a happy ending. If you aren't a Nazi, it has a happy ending, anyway.
