For those of you who were worried of Midge's "gardening" - did you ever read this sentence in full? I'll repeat it:

She did define weeds - they are also known as spam.
Whether Midge gets mod powers to remove spam posts, or (like me) she can only warn the mods about them, the spammers are the only ones who need to worry about removal of their posts.

I think we can all agree that it is a good thing to remove spam.

One of the good things Midge would do as President.

*sigh* It's good to know that 100% of the candidates running for President are running for President. Thanks for that tidbit, Hector.

Jonathan - I noticed that too. Three posts just to ask for a cup of tea in a teacup in the cafe.

By the way, Hector and Tessar. Your tidbits on the last page made for excellent reading with my morning coffee! (Although I almost choked on it due to laughter...)

Teacup Table Gazette
Startling News!

Today a presidential candidate was caught on camera taking a bribe! We have the incriminating picture below.

"I am absolutely astounded," said vice presidential candidate Hectorberlioz. "During Acalewia's administration anyone found exchanging money will be hung, jailed immediately, and put on trial. Mooters will not stand for this kind of corruption."

Standby for more incriminating news.

Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland - or Through the Looking-glass, really. The White Queen lives backwards, so her memory works backwards as well, and she remembers the things that haven't happened yet.
From http://www.gutenberg.org/catalog/wor...5821&pageno=31:
Quote:
'What sort of things do YOU remember best?' Alice ventured to ask.

'Oh, things that happened the week after next,' the Queen replied in a
careless tone. 'For instance, now,' she went on, sticking a large piece
of plaster [band-aid] on her finger as she spoke, 'there's the King's
Messenger. He's in prison now, being punished: and the trial doesn't
even begin till next Wednesday: and of course the crime comes last of
all.
'
Are you trying to turn Entmoot into a kind of Wonderland?

In a stunning show of candidate viability, the current crop of presidential candidates have all been shown to be running for president. Statistics gathered by the Entmoot Government Polling Branch last month show that 100% of the candidates currently running for president are running for president. "This is absolutely incredible," said an anonymous government official known only as "Deep Throat."
That is actually not entirely true! It turns out that MORE than 100 % of the candidates are running to be president since both Acally and Hector seem to be running for the very same position...

Start the day with Coffee (and a donought) and vote for Coffee at the end of the day Avoid Entmoot crashing and burning under a scary garden-fascist government or a corrupt Hectorian administration.

Coffee takes away the headache - and gives you the creativity you need

The Entmoot Freedom Party would like to voice its support for the growing number of legal experts that are scrutinizing the X Perry Mint candidacy.

Do we really give our vote to an Experiment? A shadow candidate being puppeteered by evil forces? By mods? By admins? By Sauron?

Stop the madness! Vote for freedom!

Admittedly, Three's a Charm is a much better slogan than Find the Magic Within You (unless we're voting for the Best Disney Princess!). However, I still object to running on a platform of superstition!
